Outlook rules

Everybody tries Outlook rules to order project emails. We would give you an advice, to skip this solution, because it won't work in future.

The unique project id

I managed lots of projects and please start with the following:

Give the child a name, but the project a number

Language is not unique, so skip this problem and choose an project id. operation systems like Unix and Linux are getting very nasty if you name a project with capital letters. Use this project id with a clear structure in your mails like "[P6559]".

Configure the mailonizer filter

Configure the filter properties for mailonizer.

Choose a target folder and press ok.

Dynamic generation of new project folders

After you have configured the generic filter once, mailonizer searches each email and uses the result to create a clearly arranged and good structured backup. In this case emails for projekt id 6559 have been collected.

New folders are created automatically by mailonizer.

Click on button 'Show folder' on the filter form and an explorer window will show all project emails.
